Hello Nikki. Nikki Gist is the founder and CEO of Hello Green Marketing. Although Nikki's educational background is in marketing she, like a lot of us fell into a career she did not go to school for. Nikki spent over a decade as a Project Manager in the Green and Construction industry learning every aspect of the industry from administrative duties all the way to Senior Operations Manager and everything in between. While Nikki enjoyed her time as a construction project manager, she always knew that marketing was her first love and she returned to her roots 2 years ago during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Nikki started Hello Green Marketing out of an abundance of demand within the Green and Construction industries and she realized that marketing agencies specializing in Green Marketing were far and few in-between. Nikki decided to bet on herself and thus Hello Green Marketing was born.

A Champion for Women in the Industry

Throughout her career in the construction industry Nikki spent and continues to spend a considerable amount of time championing for women in the industry through her work with the Professional Women in Construction organization. Nikki has been a member of the New Jersey Chapter (PWCNJ) for several years and serves on the Membership Committee to ensure all existing, new, and prospective members understand the value and benefits of joining this supportive organization. PWCNJ and its members work to give both men and women an equal voice in the industry and to ensure the young talented women who are up and coming in the construction industry receive the support they need to succeed. Having gone through some tough experiences in the construction industry herself, Nikki is happy to share her experiences and find ways that we can all work together to move the AEC industry forward.

But just like anyone else, it’s not all business for Nikki. She is also a sports podcaster, content creator and member of the media. Nikki can be found on Monday nights co-hosting her own podcast called “NY Giants Rush” and on Wednesday nights co-hosting “Rush Hour” and she also covers the New York Giants for Jersey Sporting News. All of Nikki’s podcasts are football based with either a focus on the New York Giants, Fantasy Football or Sports Betting. Nikki has been in podcasting for over 3 years and has extensive experience in brand building through her work in sports media.
