Yes, Yes You Really Do

The Green Industry is an interesting one. I could make an entire blog post on the reasons why but one of the reasons why I find this industry so interesting is because a lot of companies feel they don’t actually need a website. In what is one of the most important industries, I find it fascinating because it’s imperative for the Green Industry to get their message out to the masses in an authentic and meaningful way. Green Industry aside, a website is important no matter what industry you are in and the rest of this post will pertain to anyone in any industry who is contemplating investing in a website.

Top 5 Reasons To Invest In A Website

1. Money Money Money

Let’s start off with the obvious one here. Money. That’s why we all got into business right? To make money. If you don’t have a website, you are doing yourself and your business a disservice. Without a website many people may question whether a business is legitimate or not. Having a website gives you the opportunity to communicate to consumers that you are legitimate, professional and provide a quality product to your customers. While word of mouth referrals are the backbones of many businesses having a website is a must in today’s world. Simply put if you don’t have a website, you are leaving money on the table. Do you like to leave money the table? No, I didn’t think so.

2. First Impressions Are Everything

You know how they say that people have a solid impression of you within the first 7 seconds of meeting you? Take that and apply it to your business. Your digital impression is just as important as your in-person impression if not even more. One of the main reasons to have a website is to build your companies credibility. Did you know that 75% consumers make judgements on a company’s credibility based on their website? Almost every market is saturated and the best way to stand out from the noise of your competitors is let your brand shine through. Create a beautiful, clean and mobile friendly website that will engage your audience and help you build more credibility throughout your industry.

3. Build That Brand

Clearly establish who you are by showcasing your brand to the world! Or more pointedly, your target audience. Your website is where you can represent what your company stands for, what the mission is and really define who you are as a company. Through building your brand you allow potential customers to find quality and reliable information about your company and continue to lay the ground work for brand recognition.

4. Which Leads Us To Leads

Having a website increases your chances of getting leads. Who doesn’t want leads? Typically a potential customer will visit your website because you have something they are looking for. Once people start finding you online they will want to know more about your products and services thus giving you the chance to increase your sales. The best thing about a website is that while they do have a cost the ROI tends to be positive when used in the correct manner.

5. Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing may not sound like something you need to do but if you leverage it correctly you can increase your leads, strengthen your conversion rate and grow your business. Using data from your website to target qualified customers is a great way to get the best ROI on your Ad Spend. Digital Marketing can be misunderstood but the core concept is easy to grasp and it doesn’t have to be something that adds any difficulty to your already hectic day. That’s what the professionals are for!

The bottom line is that websites have become an absolute must these days. You can start small with a very basic website or you can go big or go home. Either approach is fine just as long you start somewhere. If you would like Hello Green to provide you with a quote on a website design or re-design drop us a line!
